Contractor Transition - USA

The Background:

Our client is a major international exploration and production company, active across the globe. As a valued strategic partner, we suggested that the client should look at cost saving initiatives and the rationalisation of their suppliers.

The Client's Hiring Challenge:

We are the client's contractor management partner in Houston and the wider US market. The first transition activity involved a group of 30+ IM and Accounting contractors working through several high priced suppliers, and further complexities were posed through the various worksites, mitigating the individual contractors' circumstances and the short timeframe in which to complete the transition. NES Fircroft was appointed to orchestrate the transition, with further transition requirements to follow pending successful completion of the initial scope.

Our comprehensive service ensures that we appoint key points of contact for each department, to provide a clear escalation point for both client and contractors should any queries arise throughout the transition process.

We developed a transition presentation which also detailed the payroll process and contractor benefits, and presented this in person to all affected contractors in each required location. Through attending the site in person, our project team could answer questions in real time as well as completing and administering onboarding paperwork, all of which helped the efficiency of the transition process.

Key project milestones were put in place to ensure that the project remained on track and through working closely with the client we were able to ensure minimal disruption throughout the transition process.

The Results:

Our methodical support has enabled the client to concentrate on the business at hand whilst we orchestrate all necessary day to day logistics for a smooth operation.

We delivered immediate cost savings to the client of circa $500,000 USD.

Our success led to further consolidation work with the client and we look forward to continuing our partnership.
